I'm here with Jasmin Rhia. And so excited to have you here we're going to talk about our experience working together. And I just love to hear a little bit of background about you and what you do. Share with everybody watching a little bit about yourself.

Jasmin Rhia  00:16

Sure, so my name is Jasmin Rhia , and I'm a violinist and DJ, as well as a music producer. My experience with Rachel has been amazing, I came into this experience with a bit of a limited mindset. And through the entire course of it, all my mind has been opened, I've got to realize my ideal client have also gotten to realize, you know, my worth in the whole process. And I just really feel like this whole entire process has leveled me up as a business owner.

And so I'm so excited, I'm already making moves. And so anything from, you know, getting a team, as far as you know, lawyers, CPA, financial advisor to, like I said, my ideal client figuring out exactly who it is that I want to reach down on, and market my services to, as well as just understanding that the price that I choose, is the price. And I don't have to, you know, lower it in order to meet, you know, in order to make money, basically.

And so I feel like I'm grown a lot as a business owner as well as a person. And I just couldn't be more grateful enough for the experience with Rachel.

Rachel Steininger  01:36

Oh, that's so nice of you to say, I'm so excited for you. What would you say is when you kind of compare where you were before versus now what's the biggest thing? What do you feel most excited about now about your future?

Jasmin Rhia  01:51

I feel the most excited, honestly, like the the biggest change has been me. Getting out of that mindset of limiting myself when I first started, think about who am I that my who my ideal client is, what type of services I want to offer. I was really shying away from doing one of the most profitable events, which is weddings, like I would just came into the game at that time, I had the mindset of oh, I don't want to do weddings are stressful.

And I really appreciate you going deeper into it like well, why don't you want to do weddings, you know, and I had to list all the reasons why I thought I didn't want to do weddings. And once I realized that, oh, I have a little bit of P you know, PTSD, from working with previous companies and doing weddings and doing everything about it and not getting the right amount of compensation.

And you just opening my mind to saying hey, put the right price on it so that it makes it worth it. That sounds so simple. But I didn't even understand that. And I'm happy to say that I did a wedding last weekend. And I'm like, Oh my gosh, I want to do weddings, I got to do weddings. And so not only is it more profitable for weddings, but I really love being in the room where there's love and unity and family and friends and the type of music that I play for that I love playing that type of music.

And so I just, I'm so glad that I was able to open my eyes opened my mind and listen to what your advice was, which is, you know, you might want to consider, you know, keeping weddings, because it's very profitable. Everyone's getting married every year.

And now that I've learned different ways to go about, you know, making sure that I can enjoy the experience. I'm just super excited because now I'm just ready to, you know, to really brand myself as a wedding DJ and violinists as a full package.

Rachel Steininger  03:52

That's amazing. So not just like, it's one thing, it's great to get more money out of it, but also to show up and feel like I can intentionally be here and enjoy this, like give it my best and look forward to it. Right. And that's amazing. I love hearing that. What would you say to somebody who's considering coaching? What would you say to somebody who's thinking about working with me in particular?

Jasmin Rhia  04:18

I would say that if you've never gotten any type of business, education, like myself, I never went to business school. I just pretty much dove in to my industry in figure just trying to figure everything out using Google, you know, using path mentors in the music industry and just kind of, you know, going about it almost in a way where I just was like, you know, I guess is what you do. I found something to make money. I know how to make money and I had my systems, you know, and I thought that that was okay.

But what I realized through coaching is that oh my gosh, there's so many things that I never Even thought of that I needed to be aware of that I needed to work on, there's so many. There's so many things as a business owners that that you not necessarily not see. Because your head is all over the place with all the things that you have to do in order to run a business.

So it's very, very powerful and very light changing to have someone come in, they already have business experience, and they're able to look at your model, and just tweak it and offer things that can really change the game.

And so I would say to anyone who is at a place in our business where they feel like they want to grow, because that's where I was, I was like, I know, I have something that's profitable, and I want to grow. But yet, you know, I'm not sure what's holding me back, I didn't really know what was holding me back.

And what I realized is that there's so many things that were holding me back from things that could be automated to finding out who my ideal client is to, you know, understanding, you know, taxes, and, you know, the importance of having a separate bank account for an LLC. I mean, it sounds kind of silly, but that's something that I didn't really think about.

And so I would say if you're looking to take your business to the next level, and you want to have a business that's going to thrive for ever, business coaching is so important. It's life changing, honestly.

Rachel Steininger  06:24

Amazing. That's great. Anything else that you want to share as part of your experience here?

Jasmin Rhia  06:31

You Yeah, I would say that. It's been a pleasure working with you, you're very awesome person, you're very smart. You're very nice. Your vibes are just really comforting and warm. And also, I like the fact that you get straight to the point. And so it's not, you know, it's like if I get if ever, I would get sidetracked or whatever you'd be like, Okay, let's bring it here. You know what I mean? Let's, so having someone who is all of those things, is amazing, because not only didn't make me realize all that, you know, little time that I've been wasting, you know, talking too much about this, or, you know, spending a little too much time with communication. I've realized through working with you that, you know, you can be nice, you know, but you also can also be very stern to get things done in the best efficient way. And so it's been a pleasure, honestly.

Rachel Steininger  07:25

Oh, good. Thank you so much, Jasmin, it's been a pleasure working with you as well. And it's been so fun to see how your business has blossomed and you really just embrace all this value that you can give your clientele and to take it up a notch and really find that ideal client and you such a unique service. I think I love how you integrate the violin with your DJ services. It's so unique in the market. And just so fun to see all of this come together. And I think you have so many great things to come in the future too. So very excited. And thank you for joining me here today.
